As you can see from the expenses below, the insurance so far has spent<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a364,800 approx to repair my flat after the fire and<\/li>\n<li>more than \u00a372,500 (still ongoing) to fix their own repair works.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A. REPAIR COST AFTER FIRE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifeafterfire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Claim-Amount-03122013.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1141 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lifeafterfire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Claim-Amount-03122013-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Claim Amount 03122013\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>1) The initial works between December 2012 and July 2013 were completed with a total cost of <strong>\u00a364,804.19<\/strong> as per the screenshot on the left hand side.<\/p>\n<p>The above amount includes the fire investigation, hotels (<strong>\u00a31,400<\/strong> approx), initial cleaning, restoration works, alternative accommodation (<strong>\u00a315,400<\/strong>), utility bills (<strong>\u00a3600<\/strong>), other expenses, etc<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>B. COST FOR REPAIRING THE ABOVE WORKS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifeafterfire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/95k_approx2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1725 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lifeafterfire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/95k_approx2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"95k_approx\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Since November 2013 the insurance is pending money in order to repair the initial insurance works.<\/p>\n<p>The expenses below includes accommodation, food and transportation but not the actual labour costs and materials for the works:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2) Hotel Accommodation for period between 25th November 2013 and 23rd December 2013. The total cost was: <strong>\u00a310,000<\/strong> (approx.)<\/p>\n<p>3)\u00a0Hotel Accommodation for period between 20th January 2014 and 03rd February 2014. The total cost was: \u00a0<strong>\u00a35,571.90<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4)\u00a0Hotel Accommodation for period between 3rd February 2014 and 16th February 2014. The total cost was: \u00a0<strong>\u00a36,924.90<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5)\u00a0Hotel Accommodation for period between 17rd February 2014 and 03rd March 2014. The total cost was: \u00a0<strong>\u00a37,316.90<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6)\u00a0Hotel Accommodation for period between 03rd March 2014 and 21st March 2014. The total cost was: \u00a0<strong>\u00a39,003.30<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>7)\u00a0Hotel Accommodation for period between 21st March 2014 and 30th March 2014. The total cost was: \u00a0<strong>\u00a34,680.00<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>8)\u00a0Insurance&#8217;s contribution toward food expenses. The cost was:\u00a0<strong>\u00a35,880.00<\/strong>\u00a0(14 weeks)<\/p>\n<p>9)\u00a0Insurance&#8217;s contribution toward food expenses. The cost was:\u00a0<strong>\u00a34,849.20<\/strong>\u00a0(31-03-2014 until 09-04-2014)<\/p>\n<p>10)\u00a0Hotel Accommodation for period between 31st March 2014 and 23rd April 2014. The total cost was: \u00a0<strong>\u00a37,143.00<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>11)\u00a0Hotel Accommodation for period between 23rd April 2014\u00a0and 13th May 2014.
