\"Minor<\/a>On the 16th December 2013,<\/strong> the BRICS Contractor Manager\u00a0from GAB Robins Ltd, sent us the certificates for the minor electrical works.<\/p>\n

Those certificates clearly state that:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. the works have been completed on SUNDAY 20th October 2013,<\/li>\n
  2. some light fittings and sockets have been replaced.<\/li>\n
  3. a wrong postcode<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The only trouble is that those works have never happened and especially on a Sunday.<\/p>\n

    I have immediately requested an investigation and an explanation in writing. \u00a0How can someone trust those contractors when they do things like that?<\/p>\n

    On the 16th December 2013,<\/strong>\u00a0the BRICS Contractor Manager\u00a0from GAB Robins Ltd, informed us that:<\/p>\n

    This is a retest to all the works previously done… No further works have been conducted only a test<\/strong>, the date on the certificate was an error<\/strong> it should have been 26th November as this is when it was written out.\u00a0A copy with revision to the date will be issued in due course and forwarded to you.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    On the 17th December 2013,<\/strong>\u00a0I sent and email to the BRICS Contractor Manager from GAB Robins Ltd\u00a0saying:<\/p>\n

    The problems with the certificates that you send me are:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1) Wrong dates<\/span>
    \n2) Wrong descriptions. Instead of “Retest of sockets and lighting fittings” it states: ” Renewal and replacement of sockets and lighting fittings”<\/span>
    \n3) Wrong postcode<\/span><\/p>\n

    Obviously the above three points raise the following questions:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1) Is the rest of the information correct or they input some random numbers?<\/span>
    \n2) Why did Capital Services Ltd entered the wrong information? Replacement or renewal means EXTRA COST.<\/span>
    \n3) Are the previous certificates accurate or did they entered random information? Please have in mind that if my electrician from PGS Services Ltd did not mentioned the “bonding” issues your electrician wouldn’t have fixed the problems because he had already issued the certificate without checking the final installation first.<\/span>
    \n4) How can I trust the validity of your certificates and how can I feel secure with this kind of unprofessional actions?<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    On the 07th February 2014,<\/strong>\u00a0I received a reply from NICEIC<\/a> that provided with a new set of certificates. New descriptions, new information and new re-installations!!!!<\/p>\n

    \"page2\"<\/a>On the first certificate, No 0541488, P D Hedges Ltd claims that they replaced the bonding with the water mains on the 26th November 2013.<\/p>\n

    This means that the previous electricians that the Capital Services Ltd<\/a> had hired did not do their job professionally on Saturday 13th July 2013.<\/p>\n

    NICEIC<\/a> does not want to admit that their registered members have not completed their job professionally. How can someone trust a NICEIC<\/a> contractor if you know that the regulator does not take any action?<\/p>\n
