Andrew Watson & Son Ltd has finished with the installation of the wooden parquet floor last Monday, 24th March 2014.
The problem is that Mr Nick H., Building Services Technical Director from GAB Robins Ltd promised in writing to provide photographic evidence of every stage of the installation.
However, he now told us that “…unfortunately we have not been provided with any photos from the flooring sub-contractor showing local application where required of the epoxy mortar.”
In his email dated 27th March 2014, Mr Nick H. also stated that: “…regretfully the sub-contractor did not take photos of the epoxy repairs”.
At the moment there is no way to verify if the contractors have done the different jobs that Mr Nick H. promised to us.
Unfortunately our previous experience last January 2014 with the same insurance and the same contractors was not good due their lies about the BAL F76.
For all the above reasons it is very difficult for us to accept the floor as it stands without written reassurances and guarantees that if the floor has any problems the insurance will cover all the expenses for repairing the floor, accommodation and food expenses.
