Today Mr Gary D., Claims Technician for Zurich Insurance Plc has used again the new tactic for responding to us. He sent his email at 16:59:56 which is 4 secs before his departure for holidays. The idea is that we cannot reply to his inaccurate statements and at the same time we have to follow his ultimatum.
He specifically stated:
I recall from our meeting on site that it was agreed that photographs would be taken during the laying of the self levelling compound / membrane.
It was not agreed that photographs would be taken of the concrete floor repair.
His first statement is not true because that information was requested by email and was confirmed by Mr Nick H., Building Services Technical Director from GAB Robins Ltd.
The second statement is true but he forgets to mentioned that we did not agree that they will destroy my concrete floor!
