questions-questionsAt 08:42 I received an email from Mr P.M., BRICS Contractor Manager from GAB Robins Ltd, stating that: “With regards to the below questions we will discuss this at the meeting that is being booked.”

At 08:57 I replied to the email above stating: “When I have answers to my questions in writing I will request a day off from my manager for our Tuesday meeting. Please have in mind that sooner I have the answers sooner I will request some time off.”

At 12:26 I received an email from Mr Gary D., Claims Technician, saying that: “Mr Mills is endeavouring to have this information with you today.”

At 13:59 I received an email from Mr P.M., BRICS Contractor Manager from GAB Robins Ltd, stating that:

After conversations with the flooring specialist I can confirm that all required areas have been prepared using Stopgap 300 HD self smoothing compound.

All of the preparation works and installation of the material to the floor have been done to manufactures specifications and recommendations to enable us to fit the flooring once it has been acclimatised.

All of the preparation works and installation of the material to the floor have been done to manufactures specifications and recommendations to enable us to fit the flooring once it has been acclimatised.

The works are scheduled as below

Floor installation 5th and 6th March 2014
Seal and finish 13th March.

Not to be walked on before 15th March.

It is imperative that from the 5th March onwards the property is not entered until 15th March by when the seal and finish would have had sufficient time to cure. We would recommend that if you require any possession’s from the property these are obtained before 8am on 5th March. Any entry to or walking on the newly installed floor during this period may cause additional unforeseen works, damage and delays to the materials installed.

I suggest that once the flooring is completed we have a meeting to sign off that section of the works and then move to the next stage.

At 15:12 I sent another email to Mr P.M., BRICS Contractor Manager from GAB Robins Ltd, requesting answers to the following:

a) What materials have been used and the quantities?
b) Have the previous materials been removed (Arditex and BAL F76)?
c) Has the F76 been affected by the removal of the Arditex Latex?
d) Will the contractors remove the uneven parts of the floor?
