I have been informed by GAB Robins that:
– The existing floor [ie latex screed and damp membrane] will be removed on Tuesday 11th & Wednesday 12th March 2014.
– Thereafter the floor to be inspected for dryness and suitability on Friday 14th March 2014 for it to then receive the new DPM & latex.
– Upon confirmation of an acceptable condition, the new DPM & latex screed to then be applied on Monday 17th & Tuesday 18th March 2014, allowing sufficient time for each to cure and to record photographic evidence of same, as requested.
– Parquet block flooring to be laid in the remainder of the week [ie 19th – 21st March], following a satisfactory assessment of the prepared floor.
I was also informed that my accommodation to the hotel will be extended until the 31st March 2014 and that they will pay the expenses after a long delay.
At least something is happening now. Hopefully everything will be done correctly and for the fourth and final time. Fingers crossed.
