London Insurance Consortium has signed a multi-million (alternative link) building insurance contract with the Zurich Insurance Plc.
The consortium was originally consisted of the following councils with a total population of over 2 million people:
- London Borough of Camden (Population: 198,020)
- London Borough of Croydon (Population: 364,800)
- London Borough of Islington (Population: 206,300)
- Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames (Population: 163,900)
- London Borough of Sutton(Population: 191,100)
- London Borough of Harrow (Population: 240,500)
- London Borough of Haringey (Population: 255,000)
- London Borough of Lambeth (Population: 304,500)
- London Borough of Tower Hamlets (Population: 256,000)
The last 3 councils has NOT renewed their contract with Zurich Municipal.
